Julia Round is is a Principal Lecturer in the Faculty of Media and Communication at Bournemouth University, UK. She is the author of Gothic for Girls: Misty and British Comics (UP of Mississippi, 2019) and Gothic in Comics and Graphic Novels (McFarland, 2014), co-editor of Real Lives, Celebrity Stories: Narratives of Ordinary and Extraordinary People across Media (Bloomsbury, 2014), and one of the editors of Studies in Comics.
Martin Lund is a senior lecturer in religion at Malmö University, Sweden. He is the author of Reconstructing the Man of Steel (Palgrave, 2016) and co-editor of Muslim Superheroes (Ilex Foundation/Harvard UP, 2017) and Unstable Masks: Whiteness and American Superhero Comics (Ohio State UP, 2020).
